Personality Development Workshops

Under this program, the distinctive factors which reveal personality and techniques of sharpening the same to become an ideal managers are made known to the students.

English as Second Language (ESL)

Globalization requires uniformity and business needs progress. As human beings, we are dependent upon language and English is the recognized world language. For the benefit of our students, we have introduced the concept of ESL classes. From the ensuing academic session, native speakers from US, UK, Canada and Australia, will teach English to our students. We are hopeful that this effort will help in nurturing, grooming as well as developing the overall personality of our students, the Future Managers and Business Tycoons.

Foreign Language Courses

In the context of globalization where organizations and people move towards a borderless world, communication becomes the catalyst and facilitator for acceleration of global acceptance. Student can choose from Chinese/ French/Japanese and German language courses which enhance their global acceptability and movability.

Industry Interface

As per the curriculum, Management students are taken on industrial visits with the objective of giving them actual field exposure. We will take our students to different industries/corporate houses/financial institutions etc. for visit. From the coming academic session we are going to send our students on an international educational trip that would include visit to the local industries and Universities facilitating their global placement.

 

PGDM program at BLSIMS offers students a cafeteria approach in selection from variety of subjects/courses designed to inculcate and develop their critical/analytical thinking, team spirit, effective communication and problem solving skills, essential to personal and career success. These courses ensure students meet the requirements of the Employability Skills Profile, achieve the learning outcomes set by the Institute and acquire skills that can give value addition to their Institute learning experience.

English and Communication

Successful companies know the key to manage and successfully handle rapid changes and challenges of globalization, is effective communication. Our corporate office works closely with the ESL Department to tailor specialization specific courses/modules/capsules that develop core communication skills. The program presents relevant career applications while allowing students to develop the critical thinking skills. From this academic session we have established ESL Department and the prime responsibility of this Department is to enhance communication skills of our students.
Our PGDM students will have the opportunity of being taught by the native as well as non-native English Language Experts. Qualified English Language Instructors from US, UK, Canada and Australia will teach special courses in English as well as other communication related subjects to our students. The Management of BLSIMS is of the view that these types of continuous interface will enhance understanding as well as comprehension of English language of our Indian students up to international standards. When students will interact with native speakers, they will be exposed to different accents and this for sure will help them to be successful not only in India but also overseas.

Counseling Services

We believe in success and we want all our students to be successful in their personal as well as professional lives. Keeping in mind the mental pressure on our students for attaining excellence in life, we offer them free of cost counseling services. Students will have access to our Expert Counselor, who will be available for guidance five days a week at our Corporate Office to start with and later on at campus also. While providing counseling services we will take care of the privacy issues.
